Lately, I've noticed several Facebook posts
of people who say they are depressed, lonely, sad, disappointed, tired,
frustrated, or in some other negative frame of being. Granted, the devil is
after your peace, your joy and your purpose; but he is a liar, a thief, and a
distracter.
The Lord is your strength! The Lord is your
joy! The Lord has GOOD THINGS laid aside that have your name on them! God is
for you!
Let me remind you today that every good thing in life is
worth fighting for. In
fact, the example we see over and over in scripture is where God's people are
required to persevere in spite of giants, enemies, opposition, failure and even
in spite of consequences to their own sin.
Sometimes, you've got to ENCOURAGE YOURSELF
in the Lord. Pull yourself up by your bootstraps and force yourself to act like
who God says you are instead of who the naysayers say you are. Friend, through
prayer, bible reading and PARTICIPATION with Kingdom protocol, you are more
than a conqueror!
It's not over until God says it's over and
He is always working all things out for your good! He has a roadmap of
blessings prepared just for YOU!
So, if you've experienced a setback,
disappointment, roadblock or any negative outcome from your previous efforts,
remember... this is only a test!
Press on! Failure is NOT failure unless you
stop trying!
“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall
