A Standers Affirmation

I AM STANDING FOR THE HEALING OF MY MARRIAGE!…

I will not give up, give in, give out or give over ’til that healing takes place. I made a vow, I said the words, I gave the pledge, I gave a ring, I took a ring, I gave myself, I trusted GOD, and said the words, and meant the words… in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in good times and in bad…so I am standing NOW, and will not sit down, let down, slow down, calm down, fall down, look down or be down ’til the breakdown is torn down!
I refuse to put my eyes on outward circumstances, or listen to prophets of doom, or buy into what is trendy, worldly, popular, convenient, easy, quick, thrifty, or advantageous… nor will I settle for a cheap imitation of God’s real thing, nor will I seek to lower God’s standard, twist God’s will, rewrite God’s word, violate God’s covenant, or accept what God hates, namely divorce!
In a world of filth, I will stay pure; surrounded by lies I will speak the truth; where hopelessness abounds, I will hope in God: where revenge is easier, I will bless instead of curse; and where the odds are stacked against me, I will trust in God’s faithfulness.
I am a STANDER, and I will not acquiesce, compromise, quarrel or quit. I have made the choice, set my face, entered the race, believed the Word, and trusted God for all the outcome.
I will allow neither the reaction of my spouse, nor the urging of my friends, nor the advice of my loved ones, nor economic hardship, nor the prompting of the devil to make me let up, slow up, blow up, or give up ’til my marriage is healed.

Vote for WHAT and Not WHO!

Bookmark and Share

We are not really voting for "Who," instead, we are voting for "What." In order to vote according to the Bible, we must look at the POLICIES and the PRINCIPLES before we look at the person. After all, the policies and principles will remain in effect long after that person leaves the office.

For those that are still unsure, let's start with the obvious known policies that are in direct opposition to God's Word:

  1. Abortion
  2. Same Sex Marriage
  3. Men in Women's Bathrooms
  4. Winking at ISIS or any other enemy
  5. Debt (the curse of Deut. 28 is to be a slave to the lender)
I know... these topics are tough issues. All of us (me included) have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. BUT, the good news remains that the only thing we must do to be forgiven is to repent and AGREE WITH GOD.

Friend, once we die, we ALL face the final judgment of God. Our opinions can't save us, our agendas can't save us, our religion can't save us, our money can't save us, our political party can't save us and even our good works cannot save us from the truth of God on that final day.

America - as a whole - needs to AGREE WITH GOD and stop playing mind games with right and wrong before it's too late. God's judgment will begin ON EARTH for America if His people remain stffnecked and hard headed about truth.

Precious friend: If you are gay, if you've had an abortion, if you live in debt, or even if you are a man who identifies as a woman, know that God has given each one of us the freedom to choose any lifestyle that we please. He might not approve it, but He does give us that choice. It's our right as a human being who is made in the image of God to freely choose how we live our life on earth.

Even so, God's best plan is for each of us is to live in the freedom that He has always planned for us. A freedom that has no consequences. A freedom that brings joy and peace, not shame and guilt.  The God of Heaven and Earth graciously forgives each of us who confesses our sin and turns to Him as our Savior and Lord. He wants to wipe our slate clean and give us all a fresh new start - if we will just AGREE WITH HIM.

As a NATION (One Nation Under GOD) we are to uphold biblical truth in order to have peace and not chaos in our land.

When the lines of right and wrong are moved, the people will eventually perish.

FRIEND, all people want to live in peace, prosperity and freedom - no matter their opinion, gender, religion or lifestyle. Consequently, the only way to have this kind of harmony among the vast multitudes of individuals within a nation is for the people to live under the banner of God's truth. His truth is the standard that we should use for governmental rule. In fact, the founders of this great nation thought so, and that is why they layed the foundation for our country through our constitution. Our godly foundation has made us the greatest nation on earth in a short amount of time.

Again, we don't have to be perfect individuals who live under this foundation, but we do need to be a people who fears God and values policy and principle above agenda, personality, or party. We don't even have to understand how it all works, we don't necessarily have to be in right standing with God as an individual and we don't need to rush to change our lifestyle in order to fear God and respect Him as The Final Authority.

The key is just to start somewhere... to start with the respect for the God that we "do know."

God loves EVERYONE. But, He does not allow stiffnecked people to spit in His face. If America votes for policies and principles that are contrary to His Word, America will inevitably suffer the judgment of God.

Yes, God will give us what we deserve. He will allow us to go down to the pit if we think we have a better way.

And yet, He will also pour out His blessing if we stand for what is right. God will fight our battles for us. He will work everything out for our good and His glory.

BUT, He will only do this if we are respecting His Word and trusting His heart. If we have a better way... He will leave us alone to search it out for ourselves. And... how foolish is that? To have a better way than the God of all Creation?

There has been enough political correctness in this country already. It's well past time for right and wrong to be valued and for truth to be upheld.

Pray, America, Pray!

And, be sure to Vote the Bible!

Be brave. Be truthful. Be different.

Praying for America!

Bookmark and Share

I'm praying for our country. Praying that God's people will vote for true godly "policies" instead of voting for what seems to be godly policies in the eyes of the world. Neither candidate is a saint, but God uses the foolish things to confound the wise.

Think about the future of this country. Think about our children and grandchildren. Think about America's freedom, safety, strength, and power. Don't let agendas, fleshly desires, politics, party affiliation, color of your skin, or your current paycheck over-rule common sense and good judgment when casting your vote.

America is not a lazy - entitlement country. America is a hard working country where people can be anything they want to be. This country was built on godly principles from our forefathers who thought it was wise to use God's Word as the standard for right and wrong. If we allow our core values to be stripped from our courthouses and our Whitehouse, we open the door for America to spiral downward to the lowest state... like other Godless countries who have suffered the consequences of their sin through wars, violence, poverty and suffering.

The American people have been brainwashed for far too long concerning political lie's and corruption. It's time to make a stand for righteousness EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT A CHRISTIAN! All people, Christians and non-Christians alike want peace, prosperity and freedom. And... freedom is NOT free. Freedom will cost you something.

Will YOU pray and truly ask God how to vote. Many of you may need to jump ship and vote a different party this time. (If it's not working... it's time for a change.)

Trump was NOT my first choice but he is definitely my final choice. He is not perfect. He may seem prideful and arrogant. Sure, he has been married at least three times and has been caught talking vulgarly about women. (But... what MAN who is not tempered by the Holy Spirit has not done the same thing?)

Trump is a smart man. He has godly values... even though he may, or may not, be a godly man. He understands finances. He understands the importance of keeping our constitution in tact. He understands the importance of ALL LIVES (including those in the womb). He understands boundaries and strength. And... he is not running for money, fame or political gain. He is running for one reason and one reason only... TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

Only God knows the heart of a person. We, as people, can only judge by their actions and track record. Hillary has a lot of negative baggage concerning her leadership. Her liberal values are NOT in line with godly standards. Yes, she is a polished politician, BUT this does not make her a wise leader.

Trump is not polished. He is REAL. He is smart enough to seek after the wisest counsel and to implement leaders who are experts in their field.

After all, we are not voting for a preacher, we are voting for a President. We are voting for someone to "lead" our country into safety, prosperity and peace.

Let's make America Great Again!

The Foolish to Shame the Wise
1 Corinthians 1:
"Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: 27But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 29That no flesh should glory in his presence. 30But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: 31That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord."

The Foolish to Shame the Wise

1 Corinthians 1:25-31

Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

If you are for:

*Men going into women's restrooms
*Aborting babies (even in the 9th month)
*Government officials using private email servers for classified information (information that could mean death or life for you)
*Politicians paying off media to "fix" their ugly stories so the public doesn't hear the whole truth
*Women whose strength comes from their bitterness toward men (Hillary has got to be a bitter women seeing how she has been married to a man whose spent a lifetime in adulterous affairs)
*Changing our constitution (a governing rule that has made America the most desirable country in the world to live in)
*Minorities staying in poverty because of entitlement thinking that is dependent on government hand outs
*Racial tension (All Lives Matter!)
*Looting, violence and ignorant propaganda being the norm for public protest
*Allowing the government to take away Christian rights under the disguise of "Separation of Church and State" while promoting other religious freedoms
*The government taking away your right to protect yourself from criminals (crooks will always have weapons)
*Politicians accepting money in exchange for corrupt laws being passed
*Allowing our military to be weakened by lack of funds, lack of support, lack of strong leadership, and lack of concern for American lives
*Taking from the rich to give to the poor (it "sounds" like a good idea if you are poor but it is NOT biblical, it does NOT help the poor to become successful, and it does NOT promote American entrepreneurship)
*Government spending that throws this country into a poverty that may not ever be irreversible
*Winking at ISIS by playing Russian Roulette with border control and illegal immigrants
*By the way... if you are an illegal immigrant or a new American who moved here from another country, voting for policies that "change" or "enable" things to be different in America for your cause will eventually cause America to be no different than the country you fled.
*Americans being brain washed by media and lying politicians
*A one world government that's in bondage to a dictatorship rule
*For the Illuminati (look it up!)
*Agenda policy above safety, common sense, and common courtesy for ALL
*This list could go on & on...

Then, by all means... vote for Hillary or do a write in vote to prove your point otherwise. (A write in vote is a poor display of apathy.)

#Trump is not perfect. He is not polished. But, he does represent the opposite of everything above AND his motive for running is to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN... for everyone!

Not voting is NOT the answer.

Voting for anyone other than Hillary or Trump is not the answer.

Voting for anyone who represents any points above is not the answer.

This final hour hangs in the balance of a country who needs to decide whether to vote the heart of God or the wiseness of their own heart.

Vote the Bible!

*Only God knows the heart of a man or woman. But, He did give his children discernment to understand the motives and spiritual disposition of a person.

Respect and Honor

Respect and honor open doors to our present and our future.

Disrespect and dishonor causes strife, builds walls, and creates road blocks in our journey.

A person of integrity implements common curtesy above motive.

A wise student of God's Word releases a fragrant life of honor toward the lowly, family, friends and peers.

Clean House!

I did it! I cleaned out 36 years of files (mostly from my dance studio days 1979-2000). I FINALLY threw away forms, old thank you cards, newspaper articles, photos, and other memorabilia that was cluttering my closet. It was an entire day of reminiscing and ciphering through the past.

One thing I found out about myself was that my core expectations for excellence have not changed over the years. In looking through the paperwork of business protocol for my dance studios throughout those early 20 years, the thing that stood out to me was the sincere love of duty, the constant pattern of setting standards, and the theme of absolute devotion.

I found hundreds of "thank you" cards that warmed my heart again - all these years later! And, I even found one or two notes that were not so nice then, and surprisingly, just as painful - still today. Let me quickly say that I am the chiefest of sinners. So, for anyone that I ever hurt through a written letter, please accept my deepest apology. Immaturity does regretful things.

Ok... so I just had to post a photo of the final box of nostalgia that has a "few" things from that time period that I am still "hanging onto." Yes, I've got a dumpster full of what was purged, but I did keep one "little" box of sentiments - just because.

So... YAY... I've cleaned the clutter. The past will always remain in my heart and mind... but not in my file cabinet or closet.

Free at last!

So clean house! Make a clean sweep of malice and pretense, envy and hurtful talk. You’ve had a taste of God. Now, like infants at the breast, drink deep of God’s pure kindness. Then you’ll grow up mature and whole in God.

Take Hold of the Faith You Long For

By Guest Blogger: Sharon Jaynes

I was alone, or at least I felt that way. Women huddled in happy clusters chatting about first one thing and then another. Some propped babies on their hips. Others clutched Bibles in their hands.

Most wore smiles on their faces. I wore one too. But it wasn’t a reflection of what was in my heart. The upturned lips were simply the camouflage I wore to blend in—to avoid being found out.

That I wasn’t really all that I was cracked up to be.

What I really wanted to do was run and hide. On the outside I was a well-put-together church mom with cute shoes and snappy jeans, but on the inside I was a little girl cowering in the far recesses of the playground hoping no one would notice me.

What’s wrong with me? I wondered. Why don’t I feel the joy these other women feel? What holds me back from experiencing the confidence and assurance they seem to experience?

Why do I continue to act like the same old me, struggle with the same negative emotions, and wrestle with the same old sins?

I wonder if you’ve ever felt that way.

The problem was I was stuck. Yes, I had professed Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I knew I was going to heaven when I left this earth.

But I had a niggling feeling He meant something more than heaven when He said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10).

Have you ever watched a circus performer on a flying trapeze? The aerialist swings out, swings back, and then usually on the peak of the third swing he takes hold of another bar or performer.

That’s when the fun begins as backflips, somersaults, and triples twists wow the crowd.

But what if, when the trapeze artist took hold of the second bar, he refused to let go of the first?

He would be left hanging in the middle. Stuck. That would not be the greatest show on earth.

And that’s where many of us spend our lives…stuck…dangling over “life to the full” but never quite letting go of what holds us hostage to a mediocre “less than” faith.

I know it’s where I spent many years…until God challenged me to take hold of the truth and make it mine.

Her name was Mary Marshall Young–and older, wiser woman in my church.

One day she challenged me to learn about my true identity in Christ.

Then she did something even harder…she challenged me to believe it…to take hold of it and make it mine.

And that made all the difference.

Paul wrote, “I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me” (Philippians 3:12).

And in order to take hold and make our own everything that Christ has taken hold of for us and placed in us, we need to let go of everything that keeps us from doing so.

If we would grasp and make our own what Jesus has already done for us, and what He had deposited in us, our lives would look very different than the tepid faith of the average churchgoer.

God’s power, provision, and purposes are for “who so ever will” (Mark 8:34 KJV).

Will what? Will let go of all that holds you back from experiencing the abundant life of the adventurous faith and take hold of truth that makes it so.

So here’s what I’m challenging you to do:

• Let go of insecurity and take hold of your true identity as a child of God.

• Let go of the scarcity mentality that says that you’re not enough and take hold of God’s abundant promises that say you have everything you need.

• Let go of crippling bitterness and take hold of radical forgiveness.

• Let go of shame-filled condemnation and take hold of grace-filled acceptance.

• Let go of weak-kneed worry and take hold of sure-footed confidence.

• Let go of comparison to others and take hold of your God-fashioned uniqueness.

• Let go of debilitating discouragement and take hold of your next assignment

• Let go of timid reluctance and take hold of bold believing.

I know that’s a tall order, but I know you can do it. I’m here to help you get there.

It’s what God wants for all of us.

So today, let’s ask ourselves if we’re hanging on to something that God is calling us to let go of. Shame? Resentment? Condemnation? Unbelief? Ingratitude? Bitterness? Unforgiveness? A false sense of who we are?

If He brings something to mind, let it go, move forward, and live bold.

The faith you’ve always longed for is just a decision away.

An Encouraging Word for Today!

SHARE THIS WITH A FRIEND WHO NEEDS SOME ENCOURAGEMENT TODAY!

Jeremiah 1:5 -
"Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations."

You know what?  You were born for a purpose!  God had something very specific in mind when He decided to create you!

Those times in which you were broken and in search of God were precious seasons in your life.  While everyone thoroughly enjoys your go-gettem' attitude and your ability to make things happen on a dime, your godly friends really appreciate those special times in which they've watched you quietly seek The Lord for His provision, His guidance, His touch, and His wisdom.  There is something very beautiful about a person when they are quiet and still in His presence.

I hope that through it all, the one thing that has been impressed upon your heart is the fact that Jesus is real.  He loves you.  He still works miracles. And, that He wants YOU to be ALL HIS.  He wants your whole heart!

The Lord has brought you through a lot of trials and you certainly have a lot to be thankful for.  Don't ever doubt that God can use you.  He takes people who are bruised and beaten and brings them through difficult situations with victory, then uses those same people to encourage someone else.  That makes it all worth while... encouraging others.

So when you think back on your life - where you've been, what you've done, and how you've survived - just remember: You've come a long way baby and God is not through with you, yet!

He has GOOD plans for YOU!  So, reach out and grab His hand... don't let go... don't look back!  Just trust Him because He is your Daddy and He loves you like no earthly father ever could.

Jeremiah 29:11 -
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."
