Now, believe you "are" who He says you are. 

Believe you can "do" what He says you can do. 

Believe you can "become" everything He says you can become.

Weapons may form against you... but they will not prosper.

Your name is ROYALTY. You are loved by the Master.

We serve a supernatural God! 

Oh, that the Body of Christ would stop disagreeing about the many wonderful gifts, administrations and operations of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus came to show us the way of the Kingdom. Then, He left us with the Holy Spirit and told us we could do the same things He did - and even greater!

The Lord wants His Body to work together and to flow in their giftings because God loves His Creature and His creation. He has given Man dominion over all that He made. 

The church should be a place of healing - really like a hospital.

But, as long as the church refuses to operate in the gifts that the Lord graciously gave to His individual sons and daughters, the hospital of the church will only be a cloud without rain... a promise without power.

When sick people go to the hospital, they don't want to hear the doctor say, "I might choose to help you; but, I might also choose not to help you." No friend, when sick people go to the doctor, they look for a doctor that will do all he can to help bring about healing.

This same attitude should be assumed by the Body of Christ. We should want to participate with the Kingdom of God by doing all we can to bring about spiritual, mental and physical healing to God's children.

And, God has clearly told us how to do this. He has given GIFTS to men and women for the purpose of bringing the Kingdom to the earth!

Friend, we serve a supernatural God. To try and box Him into a doctrine that limits His love, His way of doing things, His Created Beings who are made in His image and His Word cripples the church. In fact, the church becomes nothing more than a social group, instead of a group of radical believers, when individuals are not released in their giftings - given by God, Himself.

Yes, we serve a supernatural God who wants to see His offspring look like, act like, think like, talk like and work like He does. If you are a born-again, spirit-filled believer, you should be operating in your giftings, because God wants to use your specialty(s) to bring understanding, hope, healing and deliverance to His Creation.

"But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many.

If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?"

REAL TALK:

Have you considered that The Body is not any particular denomination? You may just need what someone in another denomination has, because God is using His Body (HIS WAY) to paint the entire picture of His Kingdom. It just might be that if any one person had all understanding and all power from every gift of the Spirit, they wouldn't be able to handle it because PRIDE would set in. God knows what He is doing in spreading His power out among His children. So REJOICE in The Body of Christ and let's stop bashing one another in the name of "warning others."

REAL TALK...

Precious one.

Don't defile the temple of God.

YOU are the temple if God's Spirit lives in you.

The Lord would not have you in such bondage.

Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you.

Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.

NOW BE FREE and LIVE...

God loves you!

That feeling.

Watching someone you love slowly kill themselves through an addiction.

Addictions steal from us. They steal our joy, our peace, our relationships, our future and our very lives. It's so painful to watch a loved one continually choose their vice over their health.

The doctors have said, "don't do it." Family has said, "don't do it." Their mind and body has said, "don't do it!"

Still, that habit... that desire... that demon... that rebellion... JUST WON'T QUIT.

When will you become sick and tired, of being sick and tired?

When will you cling to wisdom, knowledge and understanding instead of those strongholds in your mind that justify your bad choices?

When will you choose to break free from self-pity? Self-destruction? Selfish desire?

When will you allow someone to mentor you - to speak God's Word into you?

You CAN do it! You CAN stop your addictions!

The question is, "Are you WILLING to change direction?" "Are you willing to let go?" "Are you willing to shake loose from satan's grip?"

I've prayed for you. I've cried out to the Lord on your behalf for over 25 years. I know God heard my prayer. I know God has talked to you about this problem. He is always faithful. I've seen evidence - many times - of His offer to make a way of escape (for you to be free from this bondage).

But, you just won't cross that bridge. You just won't let go. You just won't open your heart and mind to the reality of how much your family loves you and wants to see you healthy and whole.

So today, I'll continue to pray. I'll continue to cry out. And, in the meantime, I'll continue to hurt for you.

Yes, your addiction hurts me! It hurts your entire family! 

We want you to be with us for a long time. We want you to be healthy. We want you to be whole! We want you to have JOY and PEACE and SELF-CONTROL. We want you to be free to talk with us, laugh with us, play with us, cry with us and worship with us... without that obstacle creating bitter poison that keeps "us all" in bondage.

Sticks and Stones

WORDS... have power.

Do your "words" build others up or cut them down?

Do you "think" before you speak?

We all have habits, personalities and emotions that try to sabotage relationships. But God wants us to control our impulsive outbursts.

Every thought is not meant to be spoken.

The more of God's Word that goes into our minds and hearts, the less likely we are to use words that are demeaning, cutting, show anger and resentment, spew frustrations,  and give lessons of ridicule.

And, the more we pray, the less likely we are to allow hurtful "words spoken into us" to turn us into the very personalities that brought us down to start with.

It can be a vicious cycle.

My Prayer:

"Lord, help me to repel harsh words, hurtful innuendo, sharp tongues and bitter slander. Instead, empower me to return evil with good. Strengthen me to love those who don't know the power of words and who don't practice taming the tongue. Help me to purge bitterness so that I don't become the very thing I loathe. Show me how to gently teach others how to take hold of their tongues so that they don't destroy the relationships that they so long to have by their own device. It is ONLY through your peace, power and prompting - Holy Spirit - that I will be able to swim upstream in a world of "words" that seek to destroy the souls (mind, will and emotions) of men. In Jesus Name, Amen"

OUR LESSON FOR TODAY:

Have ever you heard this saying?

“Sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt?”

It’s a familiar phrase, but nothing could be further from the truth!

Ephesians 4:29, which says…

“Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.”

Let’s break Ephesians 4:29 down for better understanding:

1) NO CORRUPT WORD – Proverbs 18:21 says that, Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit.

2) WHAT IS GOOD – Gossip? Negativity? Sarcasm? Perverted? Foul? Cursing? Screaming? Yelling?

3) FOR NECESSARY EDIFICATION – To build up! People need to be built up!

4) IMPART GRACE – Undeserved FAVOR!

So, do your words… build others up… or, do your words sometimes tear others down?

A word spoken out of turn can be so DISCOURAGING.

Certain WORDS can be:

· Paralyzing…

· Demeaning…

· Hurtful…

· Sharp…

· And, just Plain Out Ugly!

In fact, WORDS THAT STING can even be DEADLY!

That is why it is so important that we meditate on God’s Word - daily.

As we fill our hearts with words from above, our mouths will speak of good things!

So let’s pray like David, “Lord, Set a watch before my mouth and keep the door of my lips.”

… Because, just like sticks and stones… WORDS can hurt!

EPHESIANS‬ ‭4:29, 31-32‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“Do not let unwholesome [foul, profane, worthless, vulgar] words ever come out of your mouth, but only such speech as is good for building up others, according to the need and the occasion, so that it will be a blessing to those who hear [you speak].

Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor [perpetual animosity, resentment, strife, fault-finding] and slander be put away from you, along with every kind of malice [all spitefulness, verbal abuse, malevolence]. Be kind and helpful to one another, tender-hearted [compassionate, understanding], forgiving one another [readily and freely], just as God in Christ also forgave you.”

Love is a Verb - Love Never Fails

Ask God to help you LOVE the unlovable... even if it's your spouse.

Love is an ACTION, not a feeling.

God's love changes things.

God's love being manifested in your ACTIONS changes things.

Don't say, "I tried that and it didn't work."

God DID NOT say, "TRY to love the unlovable."

God DID SAY, "live a lifestyle of loving."

Love suffers long.

How long?

As long as it takes.

GOD'S LOVE NEVER FAILS.

Do you show forth God's love?

Broken people do broken things.

Sinners sin.

Try praying for the salvation of your spouse.

Separation is not good. It gives the devil more room to work.

Separation is only good as a last resort, or in the case of physical abuse.

Separation does not mean divorce.

Why be so quick to quit? God's timetable and your timetable are not the same.

Never allow physical abuse to harm you or your children.

Ask God the root of the problem.

Pray for the root cause to be healed. Believe for God's best.

God hates divorce; because, divorce hurts people.

But you say, "I'm hurting, so I want a divorce."

In most cases, divorce doesn't solve the problem, it only changes the problem.

Patience. Time. Wait on the Lord.

The devil is after your seed (your children).

The devil loves divorce because he gains access to the souls (mind, will and emotions) of your children - perhaps for a lifetime.

Continue to LOVE in spite of the pain.

God is FOR your marriage.

God is FOR your family.

God is FOR the souls of men.

Maybe... you were CALLED for "such a time as this?"

Will you say, "If I perish, I perish?"

This DOES NOT mean a physical death. But, maybe some things, some agendas, some plans, some careers need to be laid on the altar for a season to the saving of your family.

DIE TO SELF.

Marriage is not easy.

Your marriage should be a reflection of your covenant relationship with the Lord.

Does God give up on you?

Would you quit your relationship with the Lord if your blessings dry up?

Would you ever divorce your children if they were in gross rebellion?

Is your spouse not just as much a part of your life as your children?

Love Never Fails. - 1 Corinthians 13:8

YES, THIS IS A MARRIAGE 911 CALL.

Fight the good fight of faith.

Be careful who you let speak into your life.

If you want to win the battle, get counsel from someone who has been there and won.

The devil is crafty. He uses "words" to convince God's children to quit.

Your family, your testimony, your future, your life is worth the fight.

Don't quit!

THE BATTLE IS THE LORD's!

"Well done thou good and faithful servant."

Activate Your Faith!

Faith Without Works is Dead!

James 2:14-24 NKJV

"What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? 

Can faith save him? 

If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 

Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” 

Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 

You believe that there is one God. 

You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 

But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? 

Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?  

Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 

And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” 

And he was called the friend of God.  

You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only."
