New Year Blessing / 5779-2019

Releasing the Blessing...

This is from my Facebook Live on 12/18/18 on The Woman2Woman Ministry group page. I thought I'd share this with everyone as a blessing for the New Year to come. In this special video lesson, I am releasing the blessing of the Lord for the year 5779, also known as 2019. "Behold, God will REVEAL the POWER of His Name and the STRENGTH of His Word this year as He SURROUNDS YOUR LIFE with GOOD!" God will BIRTH something new in your life this year as you participate with Him though prayer, fasting, giving, and worship. You must BELIEVE HIM for the 100 fold blessing, creative miracle and/or promise coming to pass your life. He is a GOOD GOD and He wants to surround you with His goodness as you step into His presence each and everyday, expecting Him to reveal His power. You will receive in proportion to your faith. You will receive in proportion to your giving. You will receive in proportion to your worship. You will receive in proportion to your FIRE! Holiness is the state of being separated for the things of God. Your life needs to smell like a sweet fragrance to the world and your life must smell like a sweet aroma that reaches the nostrils of God. Get Ready! Give Ear! Listen! Walk in the 9 Gifts of the Spirit. If God calls these gifts GOOD, don’t argue with Him. Get rid of your fears and your preconceived ideas about these gifts. He wants you to walk in the supernatural POWER of His Name and His Word! Develop your fruit! Live in the 9 Fruit of the Spirit on a daily basis. These fruit are God’s GOOD blessings to others - through you. The Fruit of the Spirit must shine through your life as you walk in faith, expecting a visitation from the Lord. God gives GOOD GIFTS to His children as they give GOOD GIFTS to others. 5779 - 2019!

Failure Isn't Failure

Lately, I've noticed several Facebook posts of people who say they are depressed, lonely, sad, disappointed, tired, frustrated, or in some other negative frame of being. Granted, the devil is after your peace, your joy and your purpose; but he is a liar, a thief, and a distracter.

The Lord is your strength! The Lord is your joy! The Lord has GOOD THINGS laid aside that have your name on them! God is for you!

Let me remind you today that every good thing in life is worth fighting for. In fact, the example we see over and over in scripture is where God's people are required to persevere in spite of giants, enemies, opposition, failure and even in spite of consequences to their own sin.

Sometimes, you've got to ENCOURAGE YOURSELF in the Lord. Pull yourself up by your bootstraps and force yourself to act like who God says you are instead of who the naysayers say you are. Friend, through prayer, bible reading and PARTICIPATION with Kingdom protocol, you are more than a conqueror!

It's not over until God says it's over and He is always working all things out for your good! He has a roadmap of blessings prepared just for YOU!

So, if you've experienced a setback, disappointment, roadblock or any negative outcome from your previous efforts, remember... this is only a test!

Press on! Failure is NOT failure unless you stop trying!

Good Deeds

Isn't it strange how we sometimes find ourselves in a place of feeling like we are OK with God - just because we made the check list of good deeds for the day. Then again, oftentimes, we find ourselves feeling inadequate as a Christian - because we failed to "do" all the things we intended.

Child of God, it's wonderful to rest in the LOVE OF GOD. By simply surrendering your life, meditating on His Word and fellowshipping with Him in prayer, God promises that the Holy Spirit will be your helper... your teacher... your compass... your comforter... your friend...

My sweet friend, when you truly rest in the LOVE OF GOD, there is no glory in the works of the flesh. There is no need to worry - "did I" do enough, "did I" say enough, or "did I" be enough.

The Holy Spirit of God reveals Himself through the fragrant fruit that emanates from a life that is not only trusting in the Master, but also one who is eager to please the Him in a spirit of humility.

A peaceful countenance is more precious than all the "works" your flesh can ever muster up.

So, if you are trying hard to be a good Christian. If you are trying hard to please people. If you are trying hard to win God's approval - to win His favor...

I've got good news for your today.

STOP TRYING and START LIVING!

By only laboring to live in the power of the Holy Spirit, all other labor becomes joy! The Holy Spirit will not just empower you to "do," "say" and "act" right... He will also add an abundance of JOY in the midst of it all.

So for today, I'm challenging you to LIVE in the POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT.

STOP RIGHT NOW.

Pray for the Holy Spirit to fill you to over-flowing so that your life will spill out rivers of joy in everything you do!
